Sharing & feed

Last updated: June 7, 2026

You decide who sees what. Here's the map of where things go when you post.

Your feed

Posts you share to your feed are visible to people who follow you. Followers see them in their home feed and on your profile.

Visibility on each post

  • Public — anyone on Chefra can see it.
  • Followers only — only people who follow you.
  • Private — only you, useful for drafts.

You can change visibility on a per-post basis when you publish. Your default lives in Settings.

Kitchens and Circles

Kitchens are public communities organized around a theme — anyone can join and post. Circles are private groups (family, a supper club) where only members can see and post. A post in a Circle never escapes that Circle.

Reposts

When you repost, Chefra opens a composer so you can add a photo or a short message. The original author is always credited, and the original post stays embedded below your message.

Reporting and blocking

See Safety & reporting for how to flag content or block someone.
