Report intimate images shared without consent

If an intimate photo or video of you — real or made with AI — is on Chefra without your consent, ask us to remove it. You don't need a Chefra account.

What happens next

  • We reply with a request number.
  • We remove the image as soon as we can, and no later than 48 hours after we receive a request with the four items below. We also look for identical copies we know about and remove them.
  • We tell you when it's removed, or why it wasn't.
  • If the image shows someone under 18, we also report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Ask us to remove it

The form asks for the four things we need. Please don't send us the image itself: a link or a description is enough for us to find it.

Typing your name here is your electronic signature.

We'll send your request number and our replies here.

A link to the post, comment, message, recipe or profile, or a username and a description good enough for us to find it. Put each one on its own line, up to 20.

Does the image show someone under 18?

Or email us

If you can't use the form, email legal@getchefra.com with the subject "Intimate image removal request" and include:

  1. Your full name, typed, as your electronic signature. If you're acting for someone else, give their name and yours, and say you're authorized to act for them.
  2. Where it is: a link to the post, comment, message, recipe or profile, or a username and a description good enough for us to find it.
  3. A short statement that you believe in good faith the image was shared without your consent, and anything that helps us see that.
  4. How to reach you: an email address or phone number.

Under 18 and live in California?

If a sexual image of you is on Chefra, report it the same way, or with Report in the app. Tell us an email address or phone number to reach you that isn't your Chefra account. We'll confirm in writing within 36 hours, update you every 7 days, and give you our decision within 30 days. If something outside our control delays us, we'll tell you within 48 hours and decide within 60 days. If it is child sexual abuse material, we block it permanently and work to remove other copies.

Other help

If you were under 18 in the image, NCMEC's Take It Down (takeitdown.ncmec.org) can help stop it spreading on many sites. Adults can use StopNCII.org.
